Student Stories
We are so lucky to have Lea Emerson in our small town. Lea has been an incredible piano teacher for our four children since 2013. She has offered personalized instruction that caters to each of their unique learning styles and abilities. Lea has nurtured their musical talents while instilling a deep love and appreciation for music in each of them. I have been amazed by their growth. My two graduates have received piano scholarships to universities under her tutelage. We feel so fortunate to have found such a dedicated and wonderful teacher in Mrs. Emerson, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a piano teacher.
I have four children, all of whom have taken piano lessons from Lea. Our family has been learning from her for over ten years. My two oldest both completed Level X of the OMTA syllabus program, which was an accomplishment they were very proud of, and the younger two have passing Level X as their goal as well. Lea is a patient and kind teacher that has high expectations for her students and a keen sense of what they are capable of, pushing them to excel and grow. I am often amazed at the skills and knowledge my kids have musically, and they have all been able to take those skills outside of the studio setting to serving in church and community and even in some work settings. I’m very grateful for the wisdom and excellence with which Lea has invested in my children and very pleased with the returns we have seen from those years of lessons and hours of practicing!
